Li Huili Hospital of Ningbo Medical Center was built in 1993. It is donated by Mr. Li Huili, a patriotic overseas Chinese, and set up by the municipal government. It is the first batch of Grade 3A general hospitals in Ningbo. In 2011, in accordance with the decision and deployment of the municipal government, Ningbo Medical Center was responsible for the construction of Ningbo Medical Center Li Huili East Hospital, which was completed and put into operation on December 19, 2015. It has now developed into a regional medical center in the eastern part of Ningbo. In April 2019, Ningbo Medical Center became a directly affiliated hospital of Ningbo University, adding the first place to be called "Li Huili Hospital affiliated to Ningbo University".
